On the Rice Architecture podcast, Tête-à-Tête, B.Arch. candidate Ethan Chan talks about his experience in Rice Architecture’s Preceptorship program, which provides Bachelor of Architecture students the opportunity to intern for 9-12 months between their fourth and fifth year of academic study. Since 1968, the program has fostered professional development among students, culminating in their return to school, where they take the Totalization and Option studios for their final year at Rice. Chan’s mini episode is the first in a series of interviews with returning preceptors about their internship experiences and how they’ve brought what they’ve learned back to school.
