Profile

Katherine Bishop is a Cullinan Visiting Professor and the founder of Campfire, a global consulting agency focusing on partnerships, brand building, cultural strategy, and fundraising. Before founding Campfire, Katherine—then known as Todd Bishop—spent twenty-four years at the Museum of Modern Art, most recently as senior deputy director of external affairs. During her tenure, she oversaw the museum’s capital and endowment campaigns and all strategies and programs in fundraising and membership, international strategies, events, marketing and communications, digital and social media, and graphic design, as well as governance and fundraising at MoMA PS1.

Prior to her time at MoMA, Bishop directed Artkammer Gallery in Boston after beginning her career at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac in Austria. She has served on the boards of the Blood Mountain Foundation, Boffo, and CEC Artslink and currently serves on the board of governors of the Colby College Museum of Art, the board of directors of the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art, and as the president of the board of directors of Performa.
