Through the four-course technology sequence, students are exposed to the technical pursuits that inform and ultimately define our built environment. In this sequence, the technology behind buildings is unpacked and strategically disseminated in order to bring even the most junior architecture student into a clear and confident understanding of the systems and methods in which we operate as architects. The sequence more broadly has been restructured into two larger categories starting with an intensive, one-year introduction to materials & assemblies followed by a yearlong analysis component. Open to architecture majors only.
