Many of our students receive financial assistance from the school. Scholarships provided by Rice Architecture are decided during the admissions process, based on merit as well as need. These scholarships are renewable each year, based on academic performance as well as need.

Undergraduate Financial Aid
Student Financial Services makes financial aid decisions for undergraduates. The School of Architecture subcommittee of the Rice University Committee of Undergraduate Admissions only makes admissions decisions for undergraduate programs in architecture.

Graduate Financial Aid
Admissions and financial aid decisions at the graduate level are made by the School of Architecture with the approval of the university's Office of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

The School of Architecture seeks academically able students who show promise of superior creative ability. Rice University admits students without regard to race, color, creed, sex, age, national or ethnic origin, or physical handicap.
