Andrew Leach’s research examines historically contingent categories in modern architectural culture and of the histories and historiographies therein. He also writes on the architectural history of Australia and New Zealand. He has published several books and his essays have recently appeared in AA Files, Architectural Histories, Criticat, Grey Room, JSAH, Oase, and Project. Three new books will appear over the course of this year: Off the Plan (edited with Caryl Bosman & Aysin Dedekorkut-Howes for CSIRO), On Discomfort (edited with David Ellison for Routledge), and Rome (to be published this month by Polity).
