Llewelyn-Davies Sahni Innovative Practices Lecture in conjunction with RSA Spring Lecture Series: Modern
to
Farish Gallery, Anderson Hall

Randhir Sahni (M. Arch. ‘71) established the Llewelyn-Davies Sahni Innovative Practices series as an annual lecture that offers a model of innovative approaches to practice for our students, underscoring that agility is not only necessary for survival in architecture, but will permit them to practice in the most liberating and innovative ways. This year, the featured lecturer is the French architect Anne Lacaton co-founder of the firm Lacaton & Vassal, based in Paris. Lacaton’s office works at various scales, focusing mostly on public buildings, housing and urban planning. All of their projects are based on a principle of generosity and economy that aims at transforming norms and standards.
