Michael McCaughley
Lead Designer, OCD | The Original Champions of Design

Mike is lead designer at OCD. Originally from Dublin, Mike graduated with honors from Dublin Institute of Technology with a degree in visual communication. He worked in the Zero-G, Detail., and Atelier David Smith studios, before joining OCD in 2014.

Mike’s main interests lie in publication and systems design. His “It Happened on This Day” book about John F. Kennedy’s assassination was awarded Merit by the International Society of Typographic Designers (ISTD). It was developed as an information architecture, building a narrative on how the facts of that event were distorted to the public. He repackaged the story in a new and unbiased way.
