The Art of Judaica

Renowned Los Angeles–based designer David Wiseman will discuss his unique career trajectory, recent projects—including his current exhibition at Salon 94 Design in New York—and how faith figures into his creative practice. Wiseman, a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), draws inspiration from nature, global decorative arts, and timeless craft techniques. Wiseman creates unique interiors and furniture by blending historical references and Judaica with contemporary design. His works are featured in the permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the RISD Museum, and the Corning Museum of Glass.
