The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Houston chapter awarded Rice Architecture graduate student Melvalean McLemore, AIA, NOMA, LEED AP its 2023 Ben Brewer Young Architect Award at the organization’s annual gala on May 20. The award recognizes excellence in ability, exceptional work, and significant architectural contributions by architects in their first ten years of practice.
