Professor Carlos Jiménez's project, Won Buddhism Center, Houston, is featured in the article "Modos de trascender (Sacred Spaces Today)" in the July/August issue of Arquitectura Viva. The 6000-sf, two-story wood frame and masonry structure house with meditation and prayer room, a small gallery, library, offices, and minister's home, designed by Jiménez's studio and completed in 2020, is referenced in the article, which focuses on religious architecture and highlights a few projects that have been overhauled in spatial and material terms.
