“Paul Jacques Grillo, now on the Faculty of Architecture at Rice University as a visiting Professor, was invited to attend the Rome Conference. The following are his impressions on the trip. Information obtained during the Rome Conference has used to implement the fifth year design program for the school year of 1961-1962. This being a report about an international conference, it was considered a matter of courtesy that it should be written in the two official languages of the United Nations, French and English.” —The Editor
