What is the role of information and representation within the design process? This studio introduces and explores the tools and concepts of notation and representation in architecture and how they serve as instruments of inquiry in design processes. The use of precedents is a focus early in the semester, in which students analyze a project and its formal concepts that inform the design of a small architectural project in the second part of the course.
