This first comprehensive studio foregrounds structure, material, climate, and culture in architecture. Students conduct focused building precedent analysis through detailed drawing and/or large-scale models and develop conceptually rigorous, technically advanced architectural projects that demonstrate an understanding of material, structural, and thermal systems and performance as elements of building assemblies.
