Sean Canty is an Assistant Professor of Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and the founder of Studio Sean Canty, an architectural firm known for its innovative use of geometry and materials. He is also a co-founder of Office III, an architectural collective recognized as a finalist in the 2016 MoMA PS1 Young Architects Competition, with notable projects like the Governor’s Island Welcome Center in New York. Beyond his practice, Canty has garnered awards and recognition for his work, has been featured in prestigious publications, and is actively involved in academia, teaching at Harvard and previously at institutions such as The Cooper Union and UC Berkeley.
