AIA Houston hosted a SES Design Charette where each team was expected to develop a concept drawing based on the East Downtown and East River "EaDo" site in Houston. The project needed to prioritize healthcare, promoting experiential design, and support for the surrounding community.
Rice Architecture students were awarded with the recognition of best contextual site design (Mark Lichtenberger), best destination and placemaking solution (Nikola Kolarov), best site analysis and presentation (Sarai Huaman), and best programming (Stuti Mehta - not pictured).
