Architecture at Rice 25 reports the development and implementation of a system devised by Professor Robert Sobel and Research Associate Frederik Gardner to enable architects to infuse the dynamic dimensions of movement into the heretofore static techniques of architectural design and presentation. The system allows architects to design and present spaces in the manner in which they will be used, by man in his variables forms and rates of motion. The implication of the new dimension are described in this volume, The VISIT System – Visual Stimulation in Time.
